Dear colleagues, partners, friends,
We are delighted to invite you to join us for the third edition of the SIOP Europe Annual Meeting – an innovative setting for Paediatric Oncology and Haematology.
In light of on-going developments with COVID-19 pandemic, SIOP Europe, with a support of CCI Europe made the decision to hold the 2022 Annual Meeting in a virtual format on 23-25 March 2022.
We thank all participants, exhibitors and partners for their trust and support, especially during these challenging times.
We are also very happy that this Annual Meeting will again be held in partnership with CCI Europe. This ensures the representation and participation of childhood cancer patient advocates and provides exceptional possibilities for collaboration across all stakeholders within the paediatric oncology community.
The SIOP Europe Annual Meeting aims to bring together the diverse stakeholders who are invested in tackling the key issues with the aim of increasing the cure rate for cancers affecting children and adolescents and improving the quality of life for survivors. This unique meeting will provide a distinct opportunity for participants to share their knowledge, collaborate on cutting-edge research and debate the outcomes of the high quality clinical and basic research carried out in Europe, as well as provide mentoring and training for young doctors and fellows.
The second edition of the SIOP Europe Annual Meeting was held virtually on 28-30 April 2021 and was a success with great science and engaged discussions from 1554 participants from 65 countries.
This next edition, will focus on Joint Sessions, enabling direct interactions between tumour and clinical trial groups, parent- & survivor-groups and Plenary Sessions with multi-stakeholder discussions on important cross-tumour topics.
As a medical community, we feel strongly about supporting responsible public health. We are fully committed to keep this meeting as engaging and interactive as possible, to keep the spirit of the SIOP Europe Annual Meeting, regardless of the event format.
We look forward to bringing SIOP Europe to you in a virtual meeting thereby ensuring equal access to science and knowledge to all in our community.
