General Information

SIOP Europe Annual Meeting was held in a virtual format on 23-25 March 2022.

The 3rd SIOP Europe Annual Meeting format was changed due to the risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of all Annual Meeting attendees and the patients/communities they serve are SIOP Europe’s main priorities. This difficult decision to reschedule the Annual Meeting was made following regular updates and information received from the World Health Organisation, local health advisory authorities together with feedback from members of our community.

A ‘Fully Virtual Meeting’: What does it mean?

‘Fully Virtual’ means that all plenary sessions, scientific sessions, operational meetings and the industry exhibition will be featured online.

Delegates will have access to an online platform for the Virtual Meeting and a scheduled programme will be provided.  Most plenary sessions will be streamed ‘live’ but some will be pre-recorded. All open sessions will be recorded and available for viewing ‘on demand’ for 2 months following the event.

No special connection, tool, or software is necessary to use the Virtual Meeting Platform. The Virtual Meeting platform can be viewed in any browser, but we suggest using Chrome for a better user experience.

The SIOP Europe Virtual Annual Meeting, Brussels, Belgium, 23/03/2022-25/03/2022 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 16 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).
