Accessibility to the Congress Venue (HungExpo Congress Centre)

Taxi, Car or Uber, Bolt etc.
Depending on where you will be staying in the city centre it will take approximately 15 minutes by car, drop off and pickup area is available at the main entrance of HungExpo Congress Centre (Building C) and the main entrance SIOP Europe 2025.

Public Transportation
Depending on where in the city you will be staying it will take an estimated 30 minutes to reach HungExpo Congress Centre (Building C) by public transportation.

  1. Take the Subway M2 to ‘Puskas Ferenc Stadion Station’, alight and follow SIOP Europe Annual Meeting signage to exit the metro station and take special bus 10E directly to the venue. It will take approximately 5 minutes on bus 10E from Puskas Ferenc Station Subway station to HungExpo Congress Centre.
  2. Take Subway M2 to Örs Vezér Tere Station, alight and walk to Örs vezér tere M+H to take public bus #10 to Hungexpo and alight at II. Kapu stop (at the Congress Centre).

Note: SIOP Europe is working together with the local public transportation company as well as the convention bureau to increase frequency of the bus 10E departures during morning and evening rush hours. Kindly note all additional schedules, timetables and information will be provided together with your fast-track vouchers and badge pick up instructions that are sent out approximately 7-10 days prior to the Annual Meeting.

Meeting Date

The SIOP Europe Annual Meeting will take place in person from 12-16 May 2025.  

All sessions will take place according to Central European Time (CET/CEST).

Virtual attendance will not be possible, however, some educational sessions will be recorded and made available on demand after the meeting.

Abstracts

The SIOP Europe Annual Meeting is a joint meeting of different clinical trial groups focused on networking and collaboration, abstract submission is not possible for this meeting and the programme is put together by the Scientific Committee in collaboration with SIOPE Groups, the European Clinical Trial Groups and other Partners.

Guest Attendance Policy

The SIOP Europe Annual Meeting is exclusively reserved for registered attendees.  Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all areas and this will be strictly enforced. During the meeting your badge may be scanned outside session auditoria by SIOP Europe for operational and statistical purposes.

Certificate of Attendance

SIOP Europe will apply for EACCME® points. All registered delegates will be entitled to an EACCME® Certificate and the Certificate of Attendance which are available for download after completing the online evaluation form. An e-mail with further instructions will be sent on Friday 16 May.

Accreditation  ‘Prerichiesta AIFA’ for Italian Pharmaceutical Companies

SIOP Europe has appointed Atlante Viaggi Italia Srl to collect, on our behalf, all the applications from Italian pharmaceutical companies and to file them with the appropriate Italian Medicine Agency officials. Insurance & Liability

The organisers do not accept liability for individual medical, travel or personal insurance during the SIOP Europe 2025 Annual Meeting. Participants are strongly advised to make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance.

Language and Translation

English is the official language of the meeting. Simultaneous interpretation will not be available.

Passport and Visa

A valid passport / identity card is required for entry into Hungary.  A visa may be required for some countries, so please contact your local Embassy three months prior to your departure.

Registration

Registration for SIOP Europe 2025 Annual Meeting will occur via the Annual Meeting website and open in October 2025. All SIOP Europe and SIOP members, European tumour and clinical trial group members, parent groups, survivors, and relevant healthcare professionals with a common interest in paediatric haemato-oncology are kindly invited to register to the Annual Meeting via the Annual Meeting website. 

Industry sessions

The Industry session organisers are solely responsible for keeping any of its industry sessions activities compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. SIOP Europe is not involved with or has any control over the content, quality, organisation, operation, scientific integrity of the activity and materials provided by the industries. SIOP Europe is not involved in the selection of speakers, moderators and other faculty of these sessions. 

As a multidisciplinary audience will be attending the meeting, please make sure to select the right category, Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Prescriber, and Non-Healthcare Professionals (NON-HCPs), during the registration process.
